Boris Johnson doesn’t bow down to criticism, in fact he seems to thrive on it! His new strategic words are “LEVELLING UP” and while we are all thinking what does this mean, it takes our minds off the present situation of the new Covid-19 Delta Variant that is sweeping the country. I believe the figure to be in the region of 500,000 new cases and he still is going to end the lockdown restrictions which will include the suicide pact that persons who have had two jabs could be carriers of the Delta Variant virus and could pass it on to unsuspecting friends, relatives and strangers.
How reliable are the jabs. We only know what the government members have told us and quite frankly their history of telling the truth is not in the top ten of the population charts. Whether the two jabs of astrazeneca vaccine are going to be an enduring solution to the Delta Variant Virus is anybody’s guess. It has been reported that a person who had the two jabs caught Covid-19 again and was again admitted to hospital in the critical care unit.
It is a shame that the wrong sort of persons are not listening or viewing the news about the rise of new cases and what effects it has on people – a person with a mask and air being given to someone who can’t breathe and has a high temperature and is very ill can’t be a pleasant sight when the doctor and nurse can’t do any more for that patient and yet the unbelievers think they are invincible until they themselves are in that position and then try to blame somebody else for their foolishness.
The senior citizens with severe medical problems look on in dismay because people behave in such a manner that cause more hardship than they can cope with.
Children will be the biggest problem as more and more are catching the Delta Variant Virus and they are being allowed to attend schools, colleges and universities and they may not know that this virus is in them and they will pass it on to persons who are more vulnerable and have medical problems that they have to cope with on a day to day level.
Regarding Boris Johnson’s levelling up from the North to South of the United Kingdom doesn’t mean a thing, unless he aims to give everybody the same wage, the same working conditions and the same sickness pay. Apart from anything else, it is a medically impossible dream as first we have to get rid of this virus or live with it safely and that is going to be a very tall order. The government have got to level their playing field so that the populace have a fair chance of scoring. As their playing field is slanted in their favour and the goal posts are as wide as the pitch and the penalty spot is two feet from the populace goal they haven’t got a chance!
If levelling up means we all get the same money as the government members earn – I’m all for it!
