Book Synopsis

Business owners are challenged with making sense of the complex and ever-changing digital marketing landscape. There are dozens of tactics and techniques, plus hundreds of tools available. Making sense of it all is a full-time job itself – but business owners don’t have time for that and often can’t safely hire someone with experience to maximize their digital marketing potential.

In Getting Digital Marketing Right, business owners are given a guide to developing a strategy. This strategy ensures that digital marketing efforts are aligned to the vision and goals of the company, while producing optimal return-on-investment. By understanding the function of a digital sales funnel and the five steps of the strategy, business owners will avoid the tangled mess of tactics, techniques, and tools and focus instead on a simplified process for business growth, goal attainment, and powerful marketing.

My Benefits from the Book

As a consultant in the crowded market of digital marketing, it isn’t easy to stand out… Even for a professional marketer.  The book, however, is a key for me to do that.  From a young age, we are taught to see people who speak in front of a crowd, like a class, and people who publish content, like an author, as authorities.

My book helps position me as an authority as a published piece of valuable content.  As a bonus, there’s no better business card than a book.  Business cards and traditional sales materials like brochures are easy to trash.  Books are almost taboo to throw away, so instead, you’ll sit on someone’s bookshelf or in a draw for years!  That is great marketing.
