Timing is all important and Risky Sunak tells us that the NHS is in safe hands and yet Nurses will be going on strike twice this month. It is all very well the government giving this huge amount of money (they say) – but that’s not the issue. Management seems to have a committee that believe that sitting on their hands and doing nothing in organising a better system than there is now. Ambulances that take 12 to 26 hours to arrive to pick up people with critical injuries who may be straddled across a floor in their homes or out on very cold pavements somewhere in the UK. Surely, this can’t be unnoticed by those in power. Do they shut down their ears to the National News?
While we are on the subject of “Strike Action” The railways seem to be enjoying themselves at the expense of the public. The government couldn’t care two toots or hoots about what happens as they are all at home warming their hands by the fire with all the Christmas trimmings and the festive spirit because they have wages to match their exorbitant way of living! They forget about people who have no homes and living on the streets in cardboard boxes and makeshift bedding and this reminds me about an earlier prime minister who didn’t believe in “Food Banks” Shame on you D.C!
People are in dire straits with the cost of living crisis that the government has put us all in and the advertisers are going full speed to get us all to buy things that we can’t afford. It is a shame really and just before Christmas and so many charities from foreign lands and at home are asking for money. Including the children of Yemen, going back 60 years Yemen were involved in a cold bloodied war which lasted over 100 years. I know because I was part of that campaign when posted to Aden in the 1950’s
Have the government put their hands in their pockets to help out with this crisis? No, of course not! Have you received your £300 yet? I have received my usual amount to help with the winter fuel, but not the £300 the government promised, perhaps they are waiting for some of us to pop our clogs, so they don’t have to pay out. Perhaps that is why the ambulance issue is not being dealt with by those in power!
You can’t really trust this government to do anything for the people, they serve themselves and they have the backing of millionaires and billionaires and these people are their first consideration. Even our own member of parliament only materialises when someone of importance visits us, about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
I don’t rate the Labour Leader either as this is not just an isolated crisis of events and standing up and stating to Risky Sunak all about things, which we the public already know that he hasn’t done, doesn’t help. The government need their support as well. We all know that the Labour Party are desperate to be in power, but if the Conservatives can’t find the answer, what makes the Labour Leader think he can? Taking over the reins will be impossible for a solution to be found within a month. Because the barrel that holds all these issues have short fuses!
I blame Guy Fawkes for not succeeding!
