Author Profile: Karen Chaston
Karen Chaston is a wife, mother, author and former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a publicly listed company.
Surprisingly, it took her son, Dan’s death, for her to become more aware, grateful, healthier, energised and live in Essence.
As a Chief Financial Officer, Karen was considered very successful.
Actually, it was a “ground hog day existence”.
One where she was, working, eating, and drinking too much, always in fight mode, masculine totally denying her feminine side, running on empty, not fulfilled, not understanding that adrenalin in a woman’s body causes burnout, exhaustion, and disconnectedness.
Now, she inspires women to live their lives in their essence.
Karen’s vision is to help women in a corporate, business and professional background to rediscover and utilise their natural intuitive abilities and to realise how powerful and fulfilling it can be to live this way.
Her passion is to collaborate in creating a new world for generations to come—one with more “conscious entrepreneurs” who allow their hearts and souls, along with their knowledge and expertise, to guide their businesses.
Karen’s books open doors and assist her to fulfill her Passion and Vision.
Becoming an Author has allowed her to become an Authority…. Interestingly Author is the first six letters of Authority!
Karen lives on the northern beaches, Sydney, Australia with her husband of more than 36 years, Andrew and their dog Sirius, a male spoodle.

Book Synopsis: A Journey to Becoming Your Own Best Friend
You are the only person that you will spend your entire life with.
So, why are you putting yourself last? Beating yourself up over silly things? And, in general, not looking after yourself; personally, professionally, globally and spiritually?
We are all capable of thriving, but too many of us get stalled in survival mode, allowing perceived problems and limiting beliefs to run our subconscious mind and, consequently, our lives.
In this book, Karen Chaston helps us understand our various survival patterns, the barriers we put in our own way, and why the power of positive thinking does not work for women.
She takes us on a journey to become OUR OWN BEST FRIENDS—a critical first step to succeeding in all aspects of life.
