Which of these words would you think were the most important when thinking of what is happening in the world today? There is Goliath who are RUSSIA and there is David with his sling shot who are UKRAINE, There are similar situations, such as ISRAEL and GAZA, and another problem of NATURE sending its own broadside attack on JAPAN.
Why do different countries think that hostilities are the only answer to their own problems and that sharing a border line with another country of a different persuasion with an alien religion to their own should spark instant hatred!? Countries are being systematically reduced to rubble of concrete smeared with blood of the people in all the countries whether it be a WAR or NATURE’S CALLING CARD!
With GLOBAL WARMING these countries should be thinking of ways to make the WORLD a safer place to LIVE. KILLING each other is not going to solve any problems, especially if the WORLD strikes back and we all DIE an unnecessary DEATH because of IGNORANCE!
I myself have been involved in an FORGOTTEN WAR, many years ago with YEMEN and it is in this present day we have to forgive them and their atrocities and even now I am now finding myself in that situation. I didn’t want to be involved. I was one amongst many to kill or be killed.
It is very true that it is the innocence of children who suffer the consequence of other people’s actions and today YEMEN is appealing for clemency and financial aid for their population of children who have in the past have suffered most. Can one say with all honesty that this is fair?
What it needs now is a miracle, the leaders of each country who are at war with another country to come forward and make an alliance and discuss each situation on its merits why they are at war with each other and try to solve their differences the peaceful way. If you see a small person sitting on a toadstool, make a wish quickly, because it may come true in a million years, or maybe never because man can’t realise quickly enough that there are two sides to every known subject.
Are we going to have a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024 or are we going to have the same tedious and prolonged ignorance of men who think there is a battle to be won, whatever the cost to lives!? New building structures built only to be knocked down again by gunfire and bombs and people dying needlessly and round and round in a circle we merrily go on as each year passes and getting nowhere at all. WILL WE EVER LEARN BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG?
According to opinion POLLS and as 2023 ends there are 32 countries currently in conflict and we are constantly asked via advertisements on television to subscribe financial support to, at the moment YEMEN and with the other 31 countries asking, how do we cope with our own problems such as a COST OF LIVING CRISIS!?
