Meet our new columnist, Annie Spaziano

Ever since she was a little girl growing up in Providence, New England, USA, Annie Spaziano has enjoyed cooking and sharing her love of American food with others. Her other great love is exploring the English countryside and, after working in Derbyshire in the early 1990s she is now settled in the UK and running two independent burger restaurants, Annie’s Burger Shack, in Nottingham and Derby. Both have become huge local favourites, thanks to Annie’s imaginative menu of 34 different varieties of burger – all of which are available in meaty, veggie and vegan versions – her all-American breakfasts, range of real ales and her passion for discovering new exciting recipe combinations.
