Bourse Communications MD Rod North joins My Making Money Magazine

Rod North has been working in the financial services industry for over 25 years, having held leading roles in share broking, investor relations, media & PR, investment and funds management. He has extensive experience in company analysis, financial management and national promotion and marketing of financial products and services. He has acted in high-level corporate advisory roles to a number of private and public companies at senior executive and board level, advising on communications and investor relations strategies.

Rod North has been working with the financial press since the early 1980s and has run a successful broad based communications business, Northwood Communications. This Company is the communications arm of the corporate consultancy business Northwood Enterprises, now in its 16th year of operation. He is Chairman of Northwood Enterprises and has founded and established Bourse Communications Pty Ltd in 2005. Bourse Communications assists ASX listed small, medium and developing companies by managing their relationships with the investment community.

Mr North has high level contacts in many spheres of business and government and has a unique ability to assist companies in gaining greater recognition and profile through his persistent and systematic approach to cleverly positioning a company with the media and wider investment community. He is also the author of three books; the bestselling, ‘Understanding the Investment Clock-Your Road to Recovery’ and two books produced in conjunction with his financial services clients, ‘Wealth at Your Doorstep’ and ‘Wealth Be In It’.

Mr North is a regular business and investment commentator on radio and the ABC’s News Breakfast Show, 6am-9am weekdays, Sky Business News and Switzer TV, as well as a quarterly contributor to the ASX Investor Newsletter.

In March 2012, Mr North was awarded the Golden Chariot for ‘The Popularisation of the Transport Industry in the Mass Media’ at the 8^th Annual International Transport Industry Awards, held in Dubai UAE.
