In 2014 Jacqueline was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time, she was working in a highly stressful corporate environment, smoking 30 cigarettes a day, drinking a bottle of wine every night, and eating on the hoof. Frightened and thinking she was going to die, the cancer diagnosis was a catalyst for a complete lifestyle overhaul.
A chance encounter with a hypnotherapist, led her to retrain as a Clinical Hypnotherapist herself. She then used hypnosis to quit smoking and drinking, change her diet, and stop eating sugar. Jacqueline now uses her experience of cancer and self-hypnosis to help support women on a similar journey to make positive changes to their lives.
Jacqueline also holds a degree in Social Work, is a certified Meditation Teacher and is qualified in Reiki, Havening, EFT, NLP and Psychotherapy.
Jacqueline lives in the North of England with her Rottweiler Ollie. In her spare time she plays the drums and enjoys Ballroom and Latin American dancing. She continues not to smoke, is teetotal and vegan, and remains cancer free.
Her transformative journey and expertise have been featured in Woman Magazine, Metro Online, Yahoo, The Sun Online, Stylist, The Northern Echo, Living Magazine, Darlington Monthly and The Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine.
Jacqueline will be writing a regular column for The UK Newspaper starting from next week.
