Matt Hancock must be feeling the behind the back pinch from the Prime Minister – it must be a joy working for the government, trying to do one’s best to serve the Prime Minister and the public at the same time – a sort of balancing act. All the time thinking one has the backing and support from within the Cabinet and the Bench with outside influences giving vent to angry reports without foundation that normally with Joe Public would be an offence of slanderous proportions.
Mr. Cummings hiding behind his once master, sneering because he, himself had broken many laws during lockdown and has the temerity to announce to all and sundry they were wrongfully dismissed because they thought they were high enough in rank to break the rules.
It is a shame that back stabbing has a major seat beside the P M and more notice is taken outside than inside the Houses of Parliament where it matters. Everybody has failings and hindsight is a wonderful thing. Why does it happen time after time that someone is made a scapegoat for other person’s wrongs.
Someone points a finger and like cricket “You’re Out!” Sending messages maligning someone who is supposed to have 100 percent support from colleagues, especially the Prime Minister, must be one of the worst sinking feelings one could experience.
The Labour Party don’t have to be anti or make adverse comments about the government as it is evident that the Conservative Party is shooting itself in the foot again and over the years they have done many bad things and never once have they made a decision that has culminated in serving the public.
They have never answered a question and they will go out of their way to avoid doing just that. It is a pity they can’t be honest and truthful. Members of Parliament living in large houses and mansions when it came to window tax – why is it they are exempt? Why have they not paid the Doctors, Nurses and Carers the wage they deserve? Why have they closed down Care Homes and Libraries? Why have the government not given enough monies for the roads to be repaired properly? Why haven’t the government supported those families that are finding it difficult to survive? Why is it that the government have enough money to give themselves a hefty wage increase? Why is it that the Pensioners have to pay TV Licenses? Why haven’t the government given the NHS the billions of money they promised to give them soon after the P.M. came out hospital after having the Covid-19 viral infection, stating they were doing a good job under so much stress and we all stood outside clapping – perhaps Boris thought that was enough payment?
There are so many “WHYS” with this government and nothing gets done, just a lot of empty promises!
