I always thought that the Government and the opposing team were supposed to be united in this time when catastrophic proportions of the world are in turmoil with Covid-19 pandemic where some of the public have died and are still dying instead of blaming each other of their shortcomings and failures and as this ancient adage states – “Let those without sin, cast the first stone!” Perhaps this Leading Peer on the opposing side commonly known as the “Shadow Labour Party” as they like to be called should be asked ‘What would they have done if they were in charge?’ Perhaps the same measures and possibly at the same time, because nobody had the ability to know in advance how this terrible disease was going to devastate the whole world and if they tell you otherwise, well all I can say is someone is telling Porky Pies! I have come to believe that one of the attributes of becoming a Member of Parliament is to be able to tell lies convincingly and get away with it. Acting like children is for the young and not for men and women who should know better. After all you are supposed to be governing this country.
We in England may get rid of this Pandemic, but the unsavoury rumblings in France and Germany that a third lockdown may be imminent and the waves will probably reach these shores, because the leaders of those countries have thrown doubt as whether the Astrazeneca Vaccine is safe to use as it appeared to be linked with “blood clots.” The $64,000 question is whether it is better to have the vaccine or face a painful and terrible death having been unluckily enough to be laying in a hospital bed fighting for your life.
If the World Health Organisation experts have stated that there is no connection between these vaccines and blood clots – surely you must give these experts creditability that they know what their findings have proven. People don’t give out false statements, like the leaders of these two countries who have no knowledge of anything medical that gave out false information, thereby causing a delay in saving the lives of the people they are supposed to protect through their leadership.
This means that should the United Kingdom be protected from this accursed Covid-19, it still means that holidays abroad will not happen until every other country is free, also another item of news that has appeared is that people wish to group together and protest about something they feel strongly about during lockdown – now I ask you – is that a sensible thing to do when cases of Covid-19 are still prevalent?
It is going to be difficult enough to persuade people of different cultures, race and unbelievers of Covid-19 to have their jabs without people acting stupidly and creating another lockdown.
It is not only the young who breach the rules, but I have noticed many older persons not obeying the guide lines that the government have set out.
