So many things have happened that shouldn’t have been allowed to happen – the news reporting that a psychopath had been placed in an old people’s home who killed another resident. Honestly what is the matter with people – how stupid can you get?
Between 29th October and 4th November 2021, 358 people had a confirmed positive test result in Eastbourne and apparently this is an increase of 2.6% compared to the previous 7 days. People are walking around with no masks. I and my wife wear a mask wherever we go and people look at us as if we are aliens from another planet. Perhaps they don’t want to know until they become victims themselves – a sort of death wish. I don’t wish to be an alarmist, but up to now there have been 5,013,591 deaths in the United Kingdom.
I don’t think even Boris and his Ministers are taking any notice as they seem to be relying on this “Jabbing Programme” which is not catching up with the Covid Virus. By the time they realise what is happening there will be another pandemic lockdown. Talking of MP’s in general – I think most of them are quite content to sit on their backsides and do nothing – they are MP’s just for the money – the tax payer’s hard earned money.
Boris’s government stated it had a programme to look after senior citizens in this country – there was nothing in the Chancellor’s budget for us old ones as usual. Changing the street lighting to Toc H level in different counties casts shadows on estates streets where pavements as well as roads have never been repaired. As you drive you see a chalk mark round a hole – wonderful!!! It is okay if you live on a main road, the light seems much brighter. Some people who live on these estates have no proper lighting at all especially near dangerous concrete steps that are not level. The local councils allow pavements to be an inch either way out of alignment so I have been informed and the answer was “People should lift their feet.” If the County Council repaired pavements people wouldn’t have to worry about where their feet were.
All County Councils plead poverty until it comes to their salary and then suddenly they have enough money for that!
Boris promised that Pensioners would receive a hefty increase which was cancelled because of Covid. I suppose any old excuse to leave some pensioners on the poverty line. It doesn’t matter to him as he will get his rise – so he will be okay Jack!
