Back in 1995 Sergy Brin came up with an idea we could all agree on. It became known as Google.
While some would argue that the internet holds the greatest promise of wealth, others like Carlos Slim, the richest man in the world, might argue telecommunications holds the greatest promise of wealth. If you are now buying into this debate you’re missing the most valuable point of wealth creation. Industries don’t create wealth, people with rich mindsets and great ideas do.
Nothing moves until people do. In December 2012, 1.17 billion people used Google, as opposed to 293 million users of Baidu and 292 million users of Yahoo’s search engine. When people are moved, money moves with them. According to 2014 figures, Windows is used by 1.5 billion people and Office is used by 1.2 billion people. Both Google and Microsoft got what I call the “4 P’s of wealth” right.
The 4 P’s are simply; the Promise, the Product, the Price and the Place and every great idea has thought these out perfectly. Google’s Promise back in 1995 was simply “Not to be evil.” While skeptical users of the internet were starting to get concerned about the monopolies of Microsoft and what sat behind the coding of websites and software.
Google simply promised, “Not to be evil.” It promised a simple and desirable Product which was a search algorithm with a clean page that excluded advertising and the multitudes bought the promise. The Price was the best price tag anyone could offer – it was free. While everyone was trying to work out how to bank free, Google had a future vision and in 2014 banked US$66 Billion. Google had a unique Place in a page-busy market. You can find out more about the “4 P’s of Wealth” here.
If your 4P’s are well-designed, systematic and attractive, they become “Sympathetic Systems” that create a flood of cash-flow, because they resonate with an audience.
Many people hope, wish and pray for wealth but have no idea of how they are managing their 4P’s. Their Promise is simply to turn up for work, while their Product is themselves. Their Price is whatever they think they’re worth to their employer and their Place is simply a small bank account that their employee deposits their paltry income. If you want to break into the rich set, you must richen up your mind and start thinking outside the usual box of limitations.
Shift your mindset, change your expectations or lift the bar of what is possible. Get a mentor, a coach or anyone that will help you to think outside of the box or subscribe to the life you’ve had thus far. Life Beyond Limits helps people expand their mindset and so make real what once was unreal. Recently one of our students, Jacky Flemming had an idea – and let’s face it, all wealth starts with an idea. Here’s what she said, “Back in May this year I completed NLP Masters in Melbourne with Life Beyond Limits. During that time I created a dream of owning my own business offering health retreats and coaching in the Whitsundays. Today it’s a reality – www.whitsundayhealthandwellnessretreats.com.au
